Our Story
The Ubugingo Busagutse Ministry was born in June 2016 in a nation where more than 90% of the population profess to be Christians, yet where ignorance continues to hold individuals, families and communities captive under spiritual bondage. In the midst of this reality, the Ministry was raised up with a clear purpose: to reveal the saving work of Christ, and to awaken people to the truth of a spiritual world that governs every decision and action observed in the natural realm.
In the vision of the Ministry, all its activities converge toward a single goal - the creation of a free community that genuinely experiences the abundant life found in Christ Jesus.

As its mode of action, the Ministry employs diverse and complementary approaches to fulfil its mission:
Large Evangelistic Crusades
The Ministry organises major open-air evangelistic crusades that bring together thousands of people from across Bujumbura and the surrounding regions. These powerful Gospel events feature anointed preaching, worship, prayer for healing and deliverance, and clear calls to salvation - resulting in documented life transformation and community impact.
Charitable Works & Social Outreach
Rooted in a conviction that genuine faith produces tangible love, the Ministry carries out charitable initiatives targeting the vulnerable, the poor and those in difficult situations - including food distribution, healthcare outreaches and support for families in need, demonstrating that the abundant life in Christ reaches beyond the spiritual into the practical dimensions of human existence.
Daily Audio Messages
One of the Ministry's most far-reaching tools is its daily devotional audio programme, distributed through WhatsApp and broadcast on radio. Led by Apostle Kevin Sibomana, these messages carry apostolic teaching, prophetic insight and Kingdom truth to thousands of listeners every single day - making Ubugingo Busagutse one of the most widely-followed daily spiritual programmes in Burundi.
Sports Events & Youth Engagement
Sport is a powerful vehicle for community building and youth outreach. The Ministry leverages sports events to draw young people, build relationships and create opportunities to share the message of Christ in a positive, relational environment - reaching those who might not otherwise step into a church building.
Reach & Impact
Since 2016, the Ministry has grown from a local gathering in Bujumbura into a community-transforming movement with national reach. Thousands receive the Ubugingo Busagutse audio messages daily via WhatsApp, radio and digital platforms.
Annual mega crusades (since 2022) have drawn thousands to major public venues across Bujumbura, with widespread salvations and documented miracles.
Active across Facebook, YouTube (Ubugingo Busagutse TV), SoundCloud and Gospel TV channels - extending the Ministry's voice across Burundi and other countries.
